Some can argue and say well that was what made her who she was, yes I agree but I don’t feel like the whole story needed to focus on that.

Yes the nearly the whole book is highlighted because of that fact.įor me I feel the story was too focused on her dad, which for me took away the full beauty of Tristan and Matilda. One thing Aj has some real inspirational quotes the whole book is filled up with them from the first page right until the very last page. I think romance wise I would of liked more from the start, nothing really happened for 60% of the book I don’t feel this is romance story as much as it is about life and how to handle life and situations that come with life. I feel certain situations certain quotes even didn’t need to be described in 5/10 different ways it came to a point where I thought hmm I get it already your just killing me here. When I finished and even as I’m writing this review I’m still deciding how I want to rate this book, only for the fact even though Aj Compton’s writing is beautiful and stunning the book is VERY wordy too wordy In fact, there was times I felt myself getting bored, And I can honestly say I loved her, there is nothing negative I can say about her, her pain I understood to a certain degree and it was beautiful just seeing her fall in love with Tristan and take a chance on T.I.M.E. Matilda was just free, truly deeply freely. He didn’t care about anything apart from loving that woman until his last breath.

Which brings me to Matilda and Tristan they lovedĮach other from their first meeting, but the timing wasn’t right, you could just see that, but when Fate played into their hands they were inseparable, Tristan loved Matilda with all he had it was so beautiful to read. I would commit lovers suicide straight away. What if you knew that one person that your soul, your life your world had a ticking clock above their head and knew the exact moment how they would die. What if everything and everyone was surrounding by TIME. It was different, again it made you think, what if life was like that. The storyline I’ve never read anything like it.

Okay I’ll start by saying Aj Compton is a stunning, beautiful writer I’ll even go as far as saying her writing is poetic, her words flow off each page and wrap around your heart and soul, it’s like each paragraph had you thinking. ARC Given in exchange for an honest review.
